For the past 45+ years, Nick Johnson has lived and breathed for the electrical powerline business. He started as an Air Force Electrical Powerline Technical School trainee in 1979 in Abilene, Texas. Since then, he has built an extensive resume with experience in all principles of power. This includes but is not limited to distribution, transmission, substation, helicopter certified and most recently job planning and project oversight. In 1996, Nick decided to try his hand on the business ownership side of the power business with the inception of Three Phase Line Construction. He served as the chief of operations until its sale in 2007. In 2014, Nick founded East Coast Energy Consultants, LLC with the intent of providing consulting services to New England utility companies. Today, ECEC has added an expert group of over 20 professionals providing all your utility consulting needs in New York, Maine, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. Above all, Nick is a family man. He married the love of his life in 1981 and raised 3 children in their beloved home in Farmington, NH. He is an avid sports fan and can be found enjoying (and occasionally coaching) his grandkids’ games.
